Easter

Orthodox churches in the Western tradition observe Easter (Pascha) in harmony with their Byzantine brethren and thereby utilize the Byzantine Paschal calculations. Because of this practice, Ash Wednesday (the first day of Lent in the Western tradition) begins on a different date in Western Orthodox churches than is common among non-Orthodox western liturgical communions.

This document provides both the dates for Byzantine Easter as well as calculations for feasts or celebrations in the Western tradition that are governed by Easter.
