Service Booklets
Western Orthodox churches in the Antiochian Archdiocese use either The Mass according to the Rite of Saint Gregory or The Mass according to the Rite of Saint Tikhon as these rites have been blessed, approved and authorized by the Antiochian Patriarchate and as they appear in the Orthodox Missal blessed by Metropolitan PHILIP of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America.
The Ordo for Antiochian Orthodox parishes in the Western tradition directs that "those [parishes] using the Gregorian Canon of the Mass will recite or celebrate the Divine Office according to the Brevarium Monasticum". The blessed, approved and authorized Orthodox Ritual is used for all occasional services.
At Holy Incarnation, The Mass according to the Rite of Saint Gregory is used exclusively for all Eucharistic services and the Monastic Diurnal (an English translation of the greater part of the Brevarium Monasticum) is used exclusively for the Divine Office.
To aid worshippers, service booklets are being developed based upon these texts. These booklets strictly adhere to the approved texts and provide only the rite, music and rubrics necessary for the laity. Below are the service booklets that have thus far been produced. Adobe Reader is required to open these documents.
